The Benwell Hub is in Merton Lodge on a Friday, pick up is between 2.45pm and 3.15pm – sign up on their website to become a member (https://www.breadandbutterthing.org/become-a-member).
For £8.50 receive 3 bags, one of fruit and veg, one cupboard products and one chilled products. Pay when you collect with cash, card or healthy start vouchers. Someone else can collect for you.
If you are unable to attend in person, families can sign up on the website, give us their £8.50 in advance and we will collect for you. We will then pass the bags to you on a Friday at 3.30pm. We will start this from the first Friday after the Easter holidays – Friday 2nd May.

There is a £5 membership fee but some months they offer free membership. Not postcode specific or means tested and can choose own food. For £5 can choose 12 items, for £7.50 can choose 18 items, for £10 can choose 24 items, for £12.50 can choose 30 items. Open 10.30am to 4.30pm Monday – Friday.
