Debating Competition
Today we took part in the now annual Debating Competition with neighbouring schools.
The competition is held in the magnificent Council Chamber within the Civic Centre.
The children, in teams of 8, debate either For or Against a motion. Each team presents their case, followed by questions and counter-questions!
A great deal of time and effort clearly goes in to preparing their argument.
