Dancing at the Sage
In April 2011 nine children from Bridgewater School’s Key Stage 2 Dance club, represented the school at The Sage. They have been practicing for a number of weeks, working on a choreographed dance routine which they performed to Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal song. They practiced after school and at lunch times and showed so much enthusiasm and commitment and the work certainly paid off.
The girls who represented the school were:
- Rodeena
- Amarni
- Brittney
- Courtney
- Kayley
- Alisha
- Phoebe
- Kira
- Elizabeth
The Dance Festival is an annual event where all schools from the North East are invited to participate. The girls were delighted to be a part of this magnificent opportunity and they did our school proud.
Many thanks are owed to Laura Whistler, the dance coach, who worked so hard compiling the routine. Miss S Hallam, a teacher within school, practiced with the girls at lunch times, polishing and perfecting the routine.
Well done to the girls, and they are currently practicing for their next up and coming performance in June!
