National Schools Film Week

October 25, 2012

As part of National Schools Film Week our Key Stage 2 children are going to the cinema tomorrow to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3. Enjoy children (& adults!). Last Friday our Key Stage 1 children were also fortunate enough to visit the cinema. They watched Ice Age 4 and thoroughly enjoyed it.

NUFC Player Interview

Our Seals class (Year 5/6) were fortunate enough to visit St James’ Park and interview two first team players, Danny Simpson and James Perch. This was a great experience as we were the only school invited. The interviews were recorded by the BBC and ITV for the local news!

World School Milk Day

As part of the activities around supporting school milk, we are privileged to welcome to Bridgewater our local MP, Chi Onwurah. School Council Elections

Our School Council elections took place this week, with the children really getting in to the spirit of the occasion. Candidates campaigned hard with the children choosing their class representatives using the official ballot boxes provided by Newcastle City Council.
