School Library
Year 6 Leopards have been learning how to use the library more effectively.
They have been having sessions with Dorothy and John to find out about how the library is set out. They learned that the non-fiction books are sorted out using a system called the “Dewey Decimal System” and that each topic has a different number from 0-1000. They also found out that the fiction books are organised into alphabetical order by the author’s second name.
They are hoping to be able to borrow more books and find what they are looking for much more easily.
