Enterprise Week 2014
Enterprise Week at Bridgewater involves learning about the world of work and entrepreneurship.
On Monday all of the children came to school dressed as what they would like to be when they grow up. A vast range of jobs were covered.
We were fortunate to welcome a number of visitors in to our school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday who kindly talked to the children about the job they do. We had a male Midwife, an Optician, someone from Facilities Management, a Dentist, someone from an Insurance company, and a female fire fighter, as well as an individual from the Percy Hedley Foundation. We are indebted to all of these people for giving up their time.
A number of workshops have also been delivered for our Key Stage 2 classes. These include Duck Productions, ‘Enterprising Houses’, ‘What’s My Line’ and Dragon’s Den!
It has been a very enjoyable and informative week.
