School’s World Cup Draw!
On Monday 17th March 2014 Bridgewater were one of 32 Primary schools to be involved in a school’s World Cup draw at St James’ Park.
The project is a joint venture between Newcastle City Council and the Newcastle United Foundation.
Each school picked out one of the 32 countries taking part in this year’s World Cup in Brazil. Scroll down to find out which country Bridgewater selected!
The children will spend time researching ‘our’ country and will produce a song, poem or presentation. The Newcastle United Foundation will also be coming in to school to deliver 4 x 1 hour Samba football sessions with Key Stage 2 – how exciting!
After the draw we were taken on a tour of St James’ Park.
