Financial Education – RedSTART
Transforming the life chances of our children through progressive financial education.
Through play-based games, workshops and classroom activities our children learn about the real-world consequences of:
- Earning
- Spending
- Saving
- Budgeting
- Borrowing
A whole school programme, the children learn key financial concepts for themselves through the various fun, engaging, practical activities and discussions. Even our youngest children are involved, with their learning based on Robert Gardner’s book, ‘Save Your Acorns’. Our older children dive deeper in to risk & reward and the emotional links to money.

Volunteering Opportunities
A message from RedSTART:
It’s a perfect opportunity if you have any volunteering days/hours to use and you want to make a social impact. We ask that you can commit to a 2-hour workshop where you would be supporting primary school children to play games based around financial education.
We make volunteering with us easy. We support you through onboarding as well as organise and pay for your DBS. Cherakee Bradley, Regional Manager – North East will be there to make sure you are confident and happy to participate from beginning to end.
