Buddy Bench, Chatter Bench and Tranquil Bench!
Over the last week we have painted three of our benches different colours. There is a reason for this, which is being explained to the children.
Yellow is the ‘buddy’ bench where children sit if they are feeling upset, worried or they have no one to play with. It’s a great way for children to make new friends, particularly for those who are maybe a little shy or lack confidence.
The pink one is for chatting to friends.
The blue one is a quiet space to sit if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the playground.
